At time of renewal you must:
• Attest that you have or will have your 24 CH of CE completed by October 31, 2019
• You do not have to turn in certificates of CE unless you are audited by the Board of Nursing
• You need at least 1 of the 24 CH in Category A (Nursing law and rules in Ohio)
• Renew before September 16th to avoid a late fee.

RN and APRN renewal began on July 1, 2019. Please renew your Ohio Board of Nursing license/certificate. Renew as soon as possible to avoid delays, paying late processing fees, or having your license/certificate lapse and no longer being authorized to practice.

Information: Visit the Board website at www.nursing.ohio.gov for information about renewal processes; continuing education requirements; fees, including the late processing fee and deadline; and the end of renewal deadline after which your license/certificate will lapse.

To Renew: Log into the Ohio eLicense Center portal at https://eLicense.ohio.gov.

Assistance: Call the Customer Service Center (CSC) at (614) 466-3947 and select “Option 1” (weekdays 8am-5pm, except for holidays). CSC will assist with passwords, email addresses, registration, logging in, or eLicense navigation. For other questions, email renewal@nursing.ohio.gov. CSC will have extended coverage at various times during the renewal cycle and will be posted on the Board website. To contact CSC after business hours, email nursing.registration@das.ohio.gov and include a brief description of the issue, your first and last name, telephone number, email address, and license number, if you have it.
