This course is designed to increase knowledge regarding the legal, ethical and fiscal implications of prescribing medications in the Ohio advance practice registered nurse (APRN) role. After this course the APRN will be able to apply learned knowledge from this course when prescribing medications, including Schedule II. This course meets the three contact hours requirement mandated by the Ohio Board of nursing in order to be eligible for Certificate to Prescribe (CTP).
